James Blake has dropped a new track, ‘Death Of Love’, from his upcoming album ‘Trying Times’

James Blake has released a new track titled ‘Death Of Love’, which is featured on his forthcoming album ‘Trying Times’.

Accompanying the track’s release is a live video directed by Harrison & Adair, featuring the London Welsh Men’s Choir.

The album – due to be released on 13th March via Good Boy Records – captures the emotional whiplash of modern life.

A press release explains: “‘Trying Times’ is a masterful display of the breadth of his artistry and ability to articulate emotion with endearing transparency; Blake traces the uneasy space between intimacy and isolation in an age of instability.

“The record moves along the pressure lines of modern life, where overwhelm becomes both subject and atmosphere. The result is a body of work suspended between hope and dread. It moves through the comfort of loving and being loved while recognising how fragile that safety can feel when global anxieties and private doubts pull in opposing directions.”

The tracklisting for ‘Trying Times’ reads:

‘Walk Out Music’
‘Death Of Love’
‘I Had A Dream She Took My Hand’
‘Trying Times’
‘Make Something Up’
‘Didn’t Come To Argue (ft. Monica Martin)’
‘Days Go By’
‘Doesn’t Just Happen (ft. Dave)’
‘Obsession’
‘Rest Of Your Life’
‘Through The High Wire’
‘Feel It Again’
‘Just A Little Higher’
