Gia Ford takes inspiration from a Hermann Hesse poem for her new single ‘How Do I Reply?’

Gia Ford has unveiled her latest single, ‘How Do I Reply?’, released through Chrysalis Records.

This track follows her previous release, ‘God’, which came out in October last year. Both singles mark her first new music since her debut album, ‘Transparent Things’, in 2024.

Discussing the song, Gia Ford says, “It’s about as no-frills as I’ll ever go, but that’s what makes it fun…I managed to keep it within my universe contextually – it was inspired by a Hermann Hesse poem.”

Gia Ford is set to perform a series of shows as part of Independent Venue Week from the 26th to the 31st of January. The mini tour will include performances in Portsmouth, Cardiff, Hull, Glasgow, and culminate in her hometown, Sheffield.
