Mitski has announced her eighth studio album, ‘Nothing’s About to Happen to Me’, set to be released on 27th February via Dead Oceans.
The album, supported by a live band and orchestra, explores the story of a reclusive woman. While she appears deviant outside her home, inside she finds freedom.
The announcement is accompanied by the release of the lead single ‘Where’s My Phone?’, the video for which draws inspiration from Shirley Jackson’s novel ‘We Have Always Lived in the Castle’.
