Kid Kapichi have released their latest single, ‘Worst Kept Secret’, which fronts their forthcoming album ‘Fearless Nature’.
The album is set to be released on 16th January via Spinefarm. Kid Kapichi’s frontman, Jack Wilson, explains the inspiration behind the track, stating, “‘Worst Kept Secret’ was the final song written for the album, during a period of time where everything felt like it was clicking and coming together. We’d be listening to a bit of Richard Ashcroft and Unkle and this song came shortly afterwards. The lyrics speak for themselves. It’s about being in that nether zone of are we friends, or more? Both knowing it’s more, but neither able to fully commit or ask those questions.”
Described as an album that reflects moments of self-doubt and a newfound boldness, ‘Fearless Nature’ is produced by Mike Horner and Ben Beetham, alongside the band, with mixing by George Perks.
Kid Kapichi will be supporting the album with a series of in-store performances. The dates read:
