Big Special have unveiled their latest single ‘SLUGLIFE’, which follows their surprise second album ‘NATIONAL AVERAGE.’.
The release of ‘SLUGLIFE’ also follows the duo’s previous singles ‘PLAINTIVE NATIVE’, ‘DRAGGED UP A HILL (and thrown down the other side)’, and a collaboration with Sleaford Mods on ‘The Good Life’, which featured a video starring Gwendoline Christie.
Joe Hicklin describes ‘SLUGLIFE’ as “a song about living low to the ground and going slow. Feeling guilt for needing a bit of time to pull yourself up by your boot straps. It’s about working through the self hate that can come through hard times.”
