Picture Parlour have unveiled a new single, ‘The Travelling Show’, taken from their upcoming debut album ‘The Parlour’, which is set to arrive on 14th November.
The track reflects on frontwoman Katherine Parlour‘s relationship with her hometown of Liverpool, following recent singles ‘Used To Be Your Girlfriend’ and ‘Cielo Drive’.
“I associated the city with family trauma or whatever you want to call it,” Katherine Parlour explains. “I left home when I was really young and never looked back. This song is about joining the ‘circus’, by doing music, and then taking a moment to reassess the beauty of where I’m from and maybe miss it a little bit.”
