Girl Scout have announced their debut album ‘Brink’ and a European tour

Girl Scout are set to unveil their debut album ‘Brink’ next year, their first full-length project, following a series of EPs.

The Stockholm-based group, consisting of Emma Jansson, Per Lindberg, and Kevin Hamring, have crafted ‘Brink’ as a collection of 13 tracks exploring themes of nostalgia, change, and the passage of time.

Emma says, “Brink came out of a time when I couldn’t really picture what the future might look like. Somewhere between dread and anticipation; I was standing on the edge of something unknown, craving change but feeling stuck in the same old patterns. It was like real satisfaction felt just out of reach, and looking back at childhood and teenage memories made me realise how much had changed. How much I missed that sense of possibility you carry as a kid.

“The weight of life choices had crept up on all three of us, and suddenly every decision felt more meaningful than it ever had before, as if we could trace the growing ripple effect of every choice we made. Making this album became a way to work through those feelings — the confusion, the grief, the feeling of time running out, the reality of getting older — as much as it became a means of finding new reasons to keep moving forward.”

The first single from the album, ‘Same Kids’, has also been released, as well as an extensive tour across Europe and the UK in April to May next year.
