Jenny On Holiday, known for her role in the duo Let’s Eat Grandma, has announced her debut solo album ‘Quicksand Heart’, set for release on 9th January 2026 via Transgressive Records.
Alongside this announcement, she has unveiled a new single titled ‘Dolphins’, which follows the release of her debut single ‘Every Ounce Of Me’. “I’m so excited by the pop format,” she comments, “to be able to put something emotionally complex into this simple, accessible form.”
Nina Dellow explains her idea for the video: “My vision for ‘Dolphins’ was to explore those moments in between dreaming and waking, seeing and thinking. There is so much tenderness and raw emotion in this song, yet there is still space to wonder; it is both intimate and abstract. Here we really see the artist and are invited to sit and dream with her for a while.”
Jenny will celebrate the release of ‘Dolphins’ with an intimate karaoke party at a secret location in central London on Thursday 23rd October.
The tracklisting for ‘Quicksand Heart’ reads:
‘Good Intentions’
‘Quicksand Heart’
‘Every Ounce Of Me’
‘These Streets I Know’
‘Pacemaker’
‘Dolphins’
‘Groundskeeping’
‘Push’
‘Do You Still Believe In Me?’
‘Appetite’
Jenny Hollingworth and Rosa Walton, signed to Transgressive Records at 16, first gained attention with their debut ‘I, Gemini’ in 2016. Their subsequent album ‘I’m All Ears’ in 2018 expanded their musical horizons, and in 2022, they returned with ‘Two Ribbons’. Now, Jenny On Holiday is focusing on her solo career, offering a unique sound as heard in ‘Dolphins’.
