The Wonder Years are marking the 10th anniversary of their acclaimed record ‘No Closer to Heaven’ with a fully remixed and remastered edition. The updated version is now available for digital streaming, and fans can pre-order limited edition vinyl ahead of its release on 21st November.
The special double LP will include the newly mixed and mastered tracks, two B-sides that have not previously been available on vinyl, three previously unreleased demo recordings, and ten unique cover art card designs.
Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years has expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating, “Hearing these re-mixes was like hearing the album for the first time all over again—ten years later and it somehow felt brand new. Knowing that people will finally get to hear No Closer to Heaven as it was meant to sound is such an exciting feeling. We hope it deepens the love people already have for these songs, and that the album manages to find its way to new listeners after all this time.”
In conjunction with the anniversary release, The Wonder Years have also unveiled an official music video for ‘I Don’t Like Who I Was Then’, a track from the album which has not previously had a video.
To celebrate the milestone, The Wonder Years will return to the UK in January 2026 for a series of four special shows where they will perform ‘No Closer to Heaven’ in its entirety. The tour will commence in Bristol on 14th January, followed by performances in Glasgow and Manchester, and will conclude at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on 17th January.
