Fickle Friends are teasing their third studio album, ‘Fickle Friends’, due on 7th November via their own label, Palmeira Music.
The Brighton-based indie pop band have dropped their latest single, ‘Joe’, following previous singles ‘Feral’, ‘Swoon’, ‘Dream’, ‘Happier’, and ‘UP!’.
Vocalist Natassja Shiner explains, “‘Joe’ captures the thrills (and the meltdowns) of new love. That rush when everything feels electric, but your brain won’t stop whispering, ‘it’s too good to be true’. It’s messy, irrational…bringing out the unhinged side in even the most measured people. We took that jittery, overthinking energy and bottled it in a bold, chaotic, indie pop anthem.”
The upcoming self-titled album marks a significant phase for Fickle Friends, described as both a return and a rebirth.
The band are also embarking on a UK tour in November, including a sold-out show at Brighton’s Green Door Store on the album’s release day.
