David Byrne’s Night has confirmed some 2026 UK dates, including London’s KOKO

David Byrne’s Night are set to take their hybrid tribute to David Byrne and Robert Burns on the road in 2026, confirming a short UK run that culminates with their biggest headline to date at London’s KOKO.

Founded by Maddy O’Keefe and Dundee native Lola Stephen, the project launched at Hackney’s MOTH Club in 2023 and rapidly grew into a recurring, sell-out live staple – including closing the second stage at Wide Awake in 2024 and delivering an after-hours set at Green Man the same year.

The format brings together rotating supergroups from the indie, punk, and experimental scenes to perform Talking Heads and David Byrne-related material, threaded with readings of Burns’ poetry. Previous editions have featured members of Black Country, New Road, Bodega, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupil, Dream Wife, Fat Dog, Goat Girl, Honeyglaze, Lambrini Girls, The Last Dinner Party, Los Bitchos, Lynks, mary in the junkyard, Model/Actriz, PVA, shame, Sorry, Squid and Wunderhorse.

The forthcoming dates mark the event’s first tour, with stops in Glasgow and Manchester ahead of the London finale.

The dates read:

JANUARY
21 King Tut’s, Glasgow, UK
22 YES (Pink Room), Manchester, UK
24 KOKO, London, UK
