Mariah Carey is going to headline Amazônia Live: Today and Always with a floating-stage performance in Brazil

Mariah Carey is set to headline Amazônia Live – Today and Always with a special performance on a floating stage on the Guamá River in Belém, Brazil, on 17th September. The one-off event will take place in the Amazon Rainforest and will be filmed for a TV special to be broadcast nationwide in Brazil.

Staged at sunset, the production will reference the Victoria Amazonica, the region’s symbolic plant, in its design. The concert sits two months ahead of the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which Belém will host in November.

The bill will also include artists from Pará – Dona Onete, Joelma, Gaby Amarantos, and Zaynara – highlighting local culture. The project aims to foreground preservation of the standing forest by protecting indigenous peoples, supporting the bioeconomy, restoring degraded lands, and reforesting.

The dates read:

SEPTEMBER
17 The Guamá River, Belém, Brazil
20 Mangueirão Stadium, Belém, Brazil
