Erin LeCount has returned with new single ‘808 HYMN’, out today, 10th September.
Written and produced solely by LeCount, the track draws on orchestral strings, drum machines and synths, sitting between art-pop and baroque-pop.
Speaking about ‘808 HYMN’, Erin LeCount says: “‘808 HYMN’ was written after a long walk home in the dark, glitter under eyes and a heartbeat in my chest that felt like an 808 kick drum with the feeling I was being followed.
“A tempo to run to, a reflection on the age you grow up and realise the moon doesn’t follow you home but something else may, and that if it comes down to it, it’s you, gritted teeth and car keys between fists.”
LeCount is currently playing European shows, including Paris and London this week.
