aespa have released their sixth mini-album ‘Rich Man’, out via SM Entertainment alongside the title-track and its accompanying video.
The lead song, ‘Rich Man’, is a dance-driven cut built around gritty electric guitar and a message of self-belief. In an interview with NME, KARINA said, “What makes the song very special is its message. It’s not about material wealth, but about self-confidence and believing in yourself. So the opening line says look for someone who can do everything for you – but that’s you. So, I’m already a rich man because I trust and love myself.”
The new release follows 2024 singles ‘Supernova’, ‘Armageddon’, and ‘Whiplash’, and arrives after the physical single ‘Dirty Work’. aespa also began their third tour, “2025 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : aeXIS LINE”, with three nights at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, and will continue across Asia through the rest of the year.
