Blue Bendy are back with their new single ‘Poke’ ahead of their upcoming tour and Black Country, New Road support

Blue Bendy have shared their new single ‘Poke’, released today, 3rd September, ahead of a run of live dates that includes European shows with Floodlights, a UK headline tour, and a London support slot with Black Country, New Road at O2 Academy Brixton on 31st October.

‘Poke’ marks the band’s first new music since their April 2024 debut album ‘So Medieval’. Arthur Nolan explains that the lyrics were a reaction to “terrible hedonistic tendencies” and what happens when they meet “rural social reclusion.”

He continues, “but for me it’s just like any fetishised nostalgic romance pop song. Who started the rumour of my insanity, and is a Facebook poke still hot ten years on?”

“This pretty much sums up our last 18 months perfectly. Maybe with a pinch of salt.”
