Leigh-Anne has released a new single, ‘Burning Up’, via Virgin Music Group, arriving ahead of a headline set at Manchester Pride and a debut performance at Reading & Leeds this weekend.
Produced by Elijah “GYW Eli” Ross, Yonatan Watts (Ariana Grande) and Khaled Rohaim (Rihanna), the track follows last month’s ‘Been A Minute’, produced by Elijah “GYW Eli” Ross and Lasse Qvist and co-written by Leigh-Anne.
Leigh-Anne said: “Burning Up came to life at a writing camp in New York with some of the most inspiring writers and producers I’ve ever worked with. We went in with no rules, just vibes and instinct. The beat hit me instantly; it felt euphoric, high-energy, but there was something emotional running through it too, which made it more than just a banger. I played with my voice in ways I never have before with different textures, phrasing, pushing my range. It really stretched me as an artist, and I think you can feel that in the track”
The two tracks are Leigh-Anne’s first new music since her 2024 EP ‘No Hard Feelings’.
