Seb Wildblood has announced a new album, ‘Waterworld’, alongside a new single, ‘Insomniac Crossing’, which features Eli Dayo.
Positioned as a shift from his dance floor-focused catalogue, ‘Waterworld’ moves into songwriter-led territory, drawing on lo-fi textures and pop-leaning melodies. Now based in Los Angeles, the British producer, DJ and composer has previously worked across records, fashion and film.
Speaking about the new track, Eli Dayo and Seb Wildblood say, “Insomniac Crossing taps into the quiet moments when the city is still, the tubes have stopped running and you’re walking home at dawn after spending the night with someone who makes the world feel electric,” explain Dayo & Wildblood. “Soft air, pink clouds and the feeling of floating between a daydream and reality. The chemical glow of being on cloud-nine into euphoria.”
Wildblood’s previous collaborators include Theophilus London, Kelly Lee Owens and Laraaji. The album will be released via all my thoughts on 28th October.
