Sarah Maison has released ‘Exister’, a protest song against modern capitalism

Sarah Maison has announced new single ‘Exister’, out today (25th June) via Capitane Records.

The French alternative pop artist’s latest track marks a continuation of the sonic evolution displayed on her previous EPs, ‘Sarah Maison’ and ‘Soleils’, released in 2018 and 2021 respectively.

“Exister is an ode to nature and a reflection on the absurdity of existence under neoliberalism,” Maison says. “We work more to earn more, we buy things we don’t need — endless demands that pull us away from our essence. Meanwhile, trees are allowed to just be. No one judges them when they’re bare in winter. They change, and we accept it. Why can’t we?”

The track was recorded by Steve Surmely at Studio Pipo, with Maison handling all writing, composition, and arrangement duties.
