Slow Crush have shared their dreamy new single ‘While You Dream Vividly’

Slow Crush have shared new single ‘While You Dream Vividly’, taken from their upcoming album ‘Thirst’.

The track arrives ahead of their third full-length record, following 2018’s ‘Aurora’ and 2021’s ‘Hush’. The new album, set for release via Pure Noise Records on 29th August, was recorded at The Ranch in Southampton with producer Lewis Johns.

“We wanted to capture the sensation of being tethered to someone yet drifting weightlessly, lost in the surreal beauty of the moment,” the band share about the new single.

The ten-track album explores themes of human connection and self-identity. “We want people to let themselves go and feel embraced by the music, so that they can experience it in 4D,” explains vocalist Isa Holliday. “That’s what we hear a lot from people who come to see us live, or people who’ve listened to our previous albums, is that we take them to another dimension. I think that’s something that we miss in this day and age with everything that’s going on in the world, making us very aware of everything outside, but not allowing us to just be in the moment as much as you should.”

Regarding their upcoming UK tour, the band add: “We’re excited to be presenting our new album ‘Thirst’ with a fresh new and special live set. We feel these new songs translate really well in band setting and just can’t wait to bring this wall of sound the UK. We’ve personally curated two great support bands for this tour, SOM who recently released a new album and the other band is to be announced later.”
