Royel Otis have announced their sophomore album ‘hickey’, set for release on 22nd August via OURNESS/Capitol/Island Records.
The announcement comes following the release of their debut album ‘PRATTS & PAIN’ in February 2024. The Sydney-based duo have recently been playing pop-up shows across the United States, previewing new material alongside their latest single ‘moody’. Speaking about the album’s title, Royel Otis explain, “…because love bites harder than any other emotion in the world.”
The band are currently embarking on an extensive festival run, with appearances scheduled across major events worldwide. They have also announced their ‘meet me in the car’ tour, which will see them perform headline shows across North America with support from DANCER and bby.
