YUNGBLUD has covered The Verve’s ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ ahead of his new album release

YUNGBLUD has performed a cover of ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge ahead of the release of his fourth studio album ‘Idols’.

During the Live Lounge session, Yungblud discussed his approach to songwriting and the creative process behind the record. “When you’re kind of cringing [writing lyrics] like ‘Argh, I’m just gonna let the world know this now’, I think that’s when you’ve got something good,” he explains.

“I think if you feel something so deeply, then the chances are somebody else will [too]. This album was all about emotion… we wanted to make something bursting with colour,” he adds.

Yungblud will headline Bludfest at Milton Keynes National Bowl this weekend.
