Welsh band MORN have released their chaotic debut single ‘Modern Man’ on Speedy Wunderground

South Wales band MORN have shared their debut single ‘Modern Man’ via Speedy Wunderground as part of the label’s Speedy Single Series.

The four-piece, comprising two sets of siblings, have established themselves in London’s DIY underground scene since relocating to the capital in 2024. The group have sold out several headline shows across London, including a performance at The Windmill Brixton during Independent Venue Week, and have secured a place on Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent longlist.

Emerging from Monmouth, MORN craft what they describe as “doom over beautiful chords.” Their debut single will be released as a limited edition 7″ single, accompanied by a B-side remix titled ‘Dan Carey’s Modern Dub’.

“Modern Man came from the wild urgency of our lives. Born from teenage riffs, shaped by laughter, anger, and fear. It’s a desperate sprint through the loneliness and madness of routine, a strange reflection on the dream of escape. It felt right that it was all captured live, and Dan Carey really brought it to life with a touch of his magic. Welcome to the world of MORN,” says vocalist and guitarist Oliver Riba.

The band consists of Oliver Riba (vocals, guitar), Robert Riba (vocals, guitar), Mae Ryder (vocals, bass), and Noah Ryder (drums).

Their dates in full read:
