The Dare has covered The Sound’s ‘I Can’t Escape Myself’ ahead of his NY residency

The Dare has shared a cover of The Sound’s ‘I Can’t Escape Myself’, taken from the upcoming deluxe edition of debut album ‘What’s Wrong With New York?: Afters’.

The deluxe album, set for release on 20th June via Republic Records, follows The Dare’s original LP released in September 2024, which featured the single ‘Girls’ alongside tracks ‘Perfume’ and ‘Good Time’.

The Dare – the project of vocalist, songwriter and producer Harrison Patrick Smith – is embarking on a seven-night residency at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right, with all shows selling out within six hours. The run of performances, taking place from 12th to 18th May, will feature surprise opening acts each evening.
