Sunday (1994) have released their second EP ‘Devotion’ via RCA, featuring six new tracks including recent single ‘Silver Ford’.
The transatlantic trio’s new collection follows their self-titled debut EP, with the band describing it as “a wild-hearted companion to our first. Each song converses, conspires, or is a continuation of one that came before. Which basically means they’re connected. You have to figure out which ones and how. Answers on a post card.”
Speaking about lead single ‘Silver Ford’, Sunday (1994) explain: “It’s a song about a clandestine love waged against the grim authority of religion. A whispered rebellion, dreaming of trading a colourless life of loneliness for a sun-kissed world where love writes the only scripture.”
The EP also includes the title-track ‘Devotion’, and previously released tracks ‘Rain’ and ‘Doomsday’.
