Greywind are back with their new single ‘Acid Rain’, ahead of this spring’s Slam Dunk

Irish duo Greywind have released their new single ‘Acid Rain’, marking their first release through FLG.

The brother-sister pair, consisting of Steph and Paul O’Sullivan, have crafted what they describe as a cinematic emo anthem. “This song is about being in a toxic situation and feeling like everything is crashing down around you, which we know all too much about,” Steph explains.

Paul adds: “As soon as we finished writing ‘Acid Rain’, we knew it had to be the first song to start the new era of Greywind. It’s cinematic, dramatic and has everything we love about music in it. We wanted it to feel like a movie and you’re now in our world.”

The track follows their 2024 ‘Antidote’ EP, released via Version III, which was produced by Sam Guaiana and The Wonder Years guitarist Casey Cavaliere, with mastering by Mike Kalajian. The duo’s previous work includes their 2017 debut album ‘Afterthoughts’, released through Spinefarm.

Greywind have recently performed alongside The Wonder Years, Madina Lake, and As December Falls in the UK, while also completing multiple US tours with Tiny Moving Parts, 408, Boys of Fall, and Telltale.
