Evanescence have released their new song ‘Afterlife’ for Netflix’s Devil May Cry series

Evanescence have released new track ‘Afterlife’, which will feature in Netflix’s upcoming Devil May Cry animated series.

The song, co-written by Amy Lee alongside Mako’s Alex Seaver, sees the band collaborate with producers Nick Raskulinecz and Seaver. An alternate version of the track will appear throughout the animated adaptation of Capcom’s game series.

The Netflix series follows Dante, a demon-hunter-for-hire, as sinister forces attempt to open a portal between the human and demon realms.

Evanescence, currently comprising Amy Lee (vocals, keyboards), Tim McCord (guitar), Will Hunt (drums), Troy McLawhorn (guitars), and Emma Anzai (bass, backing vocals), are focusing on creating new music throughout 2025 while also performing select live dates.
