Miley Cyrus has announced her new album ‘Something Beautiful’, set for release via Columbia Records on 30th May.
The album, which follows 2023’s ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, features 13 tracks and was co-produced by Cyrus alongside Shawn Everett, known for his engineering work on Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Golden Hour’.
The album will include a visual component, with Cyrus telling Harper’s Bazaar: “I have this heart-first attachment to it. The visual component of [my album] is driving the sound. It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties. The songs, whether they’re about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful, because the nastiest times of our life do have a point of beauty.”
The album’s artwork, shot by fashion photographer Glen Luchford, features Cyrus wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture. In November 2024, Cyrus cited Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ as a reference point for the project, highlighting “hypnotizing and glamorous” energy as a goal.
The album is now available for pre-order across various formats, including CD, vinyl, and box set packages.
