Little Simz has confirmed the first artists for Meltdown festival at Southbank Centre

Little Simz has announced the first wave of artists set to perform at this year’s Meltdown festival at London’s Southbank Centre, running from 12th to 22nd June.

The Streets, led by Mike Skinner, will open the festival at the Royal Festival Hall on 12th June. The venue will also host performances from BRIT Award nominee Lola Young on 17th June, MOBO Award-winning rapper Ghetts on 18th June, and multi-GRAMMY and Academy Award winner Jon Batiste on 21st June.

The Queen Elizabeth Hall programme includes British-Colombian singer-songwriter Sasha Keable with Flames Collective on 14th June, and Little Dragon vocalist Yukimi on 18th June.

Little Simz herself will close the festival on 22nd June with a special performance alongside Southbank Centre Resident Orchestra Chineke! Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall, featuring material from her upcoming sixth album ‘Lotus’.

“My team and I are preparing eleven days of art, music, workshops and more. So many incredible artists have curated this festival so it’s a true honour to be a part of it. Thank you to the Southbank Centre for having me. Meltdown 2025 the Simz way is going to be epic. I’ll see you there,” says Little Simz.

The festival will also feature a young producers project, with emerging talent from across London creating events and showcases throughout the public spaces.
