Keo have shared their debut single ‘I Lied, Amber’ via AWAL, following a sold-out performance at London’s Oslo.
The track showcases the band’s blend of layered shoegaze guitars and rhythmic elements, drawing influence from artists like Jeff Buckley and Radiohead.
“It’s about pretending to trust somebody and lying to yourself that you do. Letting your past relationships negatively dictate your future ones but ultimately surrendering to the person with the knowledge that they have your heart in the palm of their hand,” Keo say of the release.
The band, consisting of brothers Finn (vocals, guitar) and Conor Keogh (bass), alongside Oli Spackman (drums) and Jimmy Lanwern (guitar), have previously performed at BST Hyde Park alongside Kings of Leon, The Vaccines and Paolo Nutini, as well as supported Nieve Ella on her European tour.
