Snapped Ankles have shared their new single ‘Smart World’, the third track to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘Hard Times Furious Dancing’.
The new track explores artificial intelligence in music through an imagined conversation between Brian Eno and the late Conny Plank, with Eno portrayed as pro-AI while Plank takes a more sceptical stance.
“I figured Conny’s the one who’ll break first, and go ‘No, you’ve got to go the hard way around’,” explains Austin. “Eno will be more like, ‘Fuck yeah, let’s go! Let’s put our brains in a tub & post it to Mars!’”
‘Hard Times Furious Dancing’, set for release on 28th March via The Leaf Label, features nine tracks including previously released singles ‘Pay The Rent’ and ‘Personal Responsibilities’.
