Mayday Parade have shared a stripped-down acoustic love song, ‘Towards You’

Mayday Parade have unveiled their new single ‘Towards You’, marking the third release from their upcoming album ‘Sweet’.

The track arrives as part of the band’s 20th anniversary celebrations, with ‘Sweet’ forming the first part of a three-part album project set to release on 18th April.

“‘Towards You’ is really just a simple love song,” explains vocalist Derek Sanders. “Sometimes all you need is an acoustic guitar, some singing, and some strings to tell someone how much you love them.”

The single follows previous releases ‘By The Way’ and ‘Pretty Good To Feel Something’, with the full album recorded alongside longtime producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount.

‘Sweet’ marks Mayday Parade’s first full-length release since 2021’s ‘What It Means To Fall Apart’ and their first self-released collection since their 2006 EP ‘Tales Told By Dead Friends’.
