Kendrick Lamar has achieved his first UK number one single with ‘Not Like Us’, which has topped the Official Singles Chart.

The track, released in May 2024, has seen renewed interest following Lamar’s performance at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. His two collaborations with SZA, ‘Luther’ and ‘All The Stars’, have also entered the top five, reaching numbers 4 and 5 respectively.

Lamar’s chart success extends to 11 top 10 singles in the UK throughout his career, including collaborations such as ‘Bad Blood’ with Taylor Swift and ‘Humble’ from his Pulitzer Prize-winning album ‘Damn’.

Elsewhere in the charts, Lola Young’s ‘Messy’ has moved to number 2, ending its four-week reign at the top. The track features on her album ‘This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway’, released via Island Records.

Chappell Roan’s ‘Pink Pony Club’ has climbed to number 3, while Sabrina Carpenter has two entries in the top 10 with ‘Busy Woman’ at number 10 and ‘Please Please Please’ featuring Dolly Parton at number 9.
