Chalk have released the final EP in their ‘Conditions’ trilogy on Nice Swan Records

Chalk have released their new EP ‘Conditions III’ via Nice Swan Records, completing the trilogy that launched their career.

The Belfast post-punk/electronic specialists’ latest offering was recorded in remote northern Iceland, fusing elements of heavy guitar music, electronica and breakbeat. The four-track EP follows their acclaimed tour supporting IDLES and arrives ahead of their own headline dates across the UK, Ireland and Europe this spring.

“Conditions III is the last instalment of the Conditions Trilogy. These 4 songs represent the end of a chapter in our musical journey as Chalk,” the band say. “We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved on this release as it proved to be the most challenging one for us. We hope these tracks can strengthen the connection between us and all of you even further.”

The EP, produced by Chris Ryan and Ross Cullen, features tracks ‘Leipzig 87’, ‘Afraid’, ‘Tell Me’, and ‘Pool Scene’. The three-piece, comprising Ross Cullen, Benedict Goddard, and Luke Niblock, have previously won ‘Best Live Act’ at the NI Music Prize and have supported acts including Sprints and PVA.
