MOULD have announced their second EP ‘Almost Feels Like A Purpose’, set for release on 24th April via 5dB Records. The Bristol power trio have also shared new single ‘SNAILS’.
The EP, recorded at Bristol’s Humm Studios last summer, follows the band’s autumn single ‘CHUNKS’. The new track sees frontman Joe Sherrin drawing inspiration from Dave Berman and Nick Cave, with lyrics personifying dissatisfaction through the character of a baby.
“‘SNAILS’ was written whilst working a mind numbing temp receptionist job. I worked there for a week. My job was to press a button to let people in the door if they forgot their pass. They all had passes,” Sherrin explains. “Kane came up with the melody whilst we were messing around with a chord sequence at practice, I then wrote the words to fit it.”
MOULD, comprising Sherrin (vocals, guitar), Kane Eagle (vocals, bass), and James Luxton (drums), are set to play:
