The Smile have shared new remixes of two tracks from their latest album ‘Cutouts’

The Smile have shared new remixes of two tracks from their latest album ‘Cutouts’, featuring reworkings from James Holden and Robert Stillman.

The UK producer Holden has taken on ‘Don’t Get Me Started’, while multi-instrumentalist Stillman, who has performed live with the band, has remixed ‘Instant Psalm’. Both tracks are accompanied by visual pieces from Weirdcore, described as ‘recycled video mixes’, who also created the original visuals for these songs alongside ‘No Words’ and ‘Zero Sum’.

The remixes will be released as a double A-side 12-inch single on 28th March. The announcement follows the band’s recent release of a three-track live 12-inch vinyl through Rough Trade, which has since sold out.

The new remixes arrive following the release of The Smile’s two albums, ‘Wall of Eyes’ and ‘Cutouts’, in 2024.
