Tropical Fuck Storm have released a new single ‘Goon Show’

Tropical Fuck Storm have signed to Fire Records, marking the occasion with the release of their new single ‘Goon Show’.

The Melbourne four-piece have shared a statement about the track, saying: “Here’s a neat little jingle to usher in the dumb phone revolution of 2025. It’s time to downgrade and spend an afternoon or two outdoors away from our glasshouses. Meatspace is a magical land where we can all picnic and discover the things we have in common, away from Silicon Valley’s Angertainment Industrial Complex.”

The band formed in 2016 when Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin took a break from The Drones, joining forces with Erica Dunn and Lauren Hammel. ‘Goon Show’ features Liddiard’s distinctive baritone vocals set against a backdrop of distorted guitars and pulsing rhythms.
