SEVENTEEN’s HOSHI and WOOZI are set to release their first single album as a unit, ‘BEAM’, on 10th March.
The duo, both key members of SEVENTEEN, have unveiled a logo trailer and concept teaser for the release. The teaser presents a black-and-white aesthetic incorporating light and shadow elements, culminating in a sequence featuring printed logos and release information.
‘BEAM’ explores themes of light as a metaphor for self-love and originality, drawing from HOSHI and WOOZI’s shared experiences from their trainee period through to SEVENTEEN’s current status. The pairing marks a significant collaboration between two of the group’s unit leaders, with HOSHI heading the performance unit and WOOZI leading the vocal unit while serving as the group’s main producer.
The collaboration follows their previous work together on ‘Bring It’, a B-side track from SEVENTEEN’s second studio album ‘TEEN, AGE’. It continues SEVENTEEN’s tradition of unit releases, following BSS’s ‘TELEPARTY’ and JEONGHAN and WONWOO’s single album ‘THIS MAN’.
Pre-orders for ‘BEAM’ commence on 18th February.
