Parkway Drive are set to perform at Sydney Opera House with a full orchestra as part of the venue’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
The metalcore band will take to the stage on 9th June for the one-off performance, which will be recorded for an upcoming film and live album titled ‘HOME’.
Winston McCall shares his thoughts on the special event, saying, “For over two decades, we have carried our home in our hearts as we roamed around the world. Australia has made us; from the dirt to the sky, it is who we are. So, it is with open arms that we present to you this iconic event: Parkway Drive as you have never seen or heard it, with a full symphonic orchestra, performed at the most iconic building in the land – the Sydney Opera House. One night, one show, one band. Please join us for a black-tie celebration of the place we call home.”
The band are also set to embark on their 20th anniversary tour, with arena shows scheduled across the UK. They will be joined by Thy Art Is Murder and The Amity Affliction.
