Lady Gaga performs Lonely Island medley with Andy Samberg at SNL anniversary show

Lady Gaga and Andy Samberg have performed a surprise Lonely Island medley at SNL 50: The Homecoming concert.

The performance, which took place on 14th February, saw Gaga join forces with the Brooklyn 99 star for a series of Lonely Island classics. The pair began with an attempted rendition of ‘Shallow’, which was cut short when Gaga stopped Samberg’s Bradley Cooper impression, suggesting they perform something “more in [his] vocal range.”

The duo then launched into ‘Dick in a Box’, originally performed by Samberg and Justin Timberlake during SNL’s 2006 Christmas episode. They were later joined by Bad Bunny, T-Pain, Chris Parnell, Eddie Vedder, and former Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone for a mashup including ‘Motherlove’, ‘Lazy Sunday’, ‘I’m On a Boat’, ‘Jack Sparrow’ and ‘Jizz in My Pants’.

“Andy, don’t be a bitch. I’ll do it with you,” Gaga told Samberg when he expressed concern about Timberlake’s absence.

The concert, which celebrated SNL’s 50th anniversary, was hosted by Jimmy Fallon with Lorne Michaels and Mark Ronson serving as executive producers. The event also featured performances from Nirvana’s surviving members with Post Malone, and Miley Cyrus performing ‘Flowers’.
