MARINA is teasing the release of new single ‘Butterfly’, set to arrive on 21st February.
The track serves as the first preview of her sixth studio album and marks her first release as an independent artist. The song features lyrics including “And now I’m leaving you behind, behind. Yeah, I’m a butterfly, you just never seen my energy.”
The Welsh artist’s promotional campaign for the single has included Instagram posts and QR codes, which have led fans to discover signed cards, colouring pages, and live caterpillars.
‘Butterfly’ follows MARINA’s previous album ‘Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land’, continuing her evolution from earlier works including ‘Electra Heart’.
