Dork’s Night Out continues its relentless mission to fill your 2025 calendar with unmissable moments, as Bradley Simpson prepares to transform Colours Hoxton into his own palace of glittering musical delights for our latest announcement. Set for Wednesday 26th February (just two days before his debut album drops – talk about perfect timing), it’s another essential addition to our Dork 100 celebration series.
Fresh from crafting ‘The Panic Years’ – a debut solo collection that sparkles with the kind of fizzy brilliance you can’t manufacture in a focus group – Bradley arrives at this special show armed with an arsenal of tracks that blend vintage warmth with modern bite. His latest single ‘Carpet Burn’ feels like a postcard from a New York hotel room, scribbled in thirty minutes but somehow capturing an entire lifetime of wanting more.
The night promises to be an up-close-and-personal preview of what’s to come, arriving just before Bradley embarks on a victory lap of the UK’s most prestigious venues. Support comes from Esme Emerson, promising impossibly buzzy diary entries set to a soundtrack of wonky pop brilliance – think bedroom confessionals amplified through a kaleidoscope of sound. They’re also joined by Lala Hayden, who’s busy crafting dance-floor anthems that feel like stumbling into the world’s coolest underground disco where Madonna and Kate Bush are trading DJ duties.
The show sits at the heart of our Dork 100 series – our year-long victory lap celebrating somehow reaching 100 issues without anyone cottoning on that we’re making it up as we go along.
Tickets are £19 (plus booking fee), and it’s a 14+ show. Grab ’em here.
