Casino Hearts have announced their new EP ‘A Walk In The Grass’, set for release on 12th March, alongside sharing new single ‘Say It For Yourself’.
The Los Angeles-based trio’s latest track serves as the final piece in their upcoming EP, helping to complete a collection of songs written over the past two years. “‘It’s always easier to hide or escape into whatever is less visceral than feeling everything that comes with being a living thing,” Forest Holter explains. “This song is a reminder to combat that instinct when you can; leave your bed, lose your phone, and go be in the world because there’s love out there waiting to be received.”
The six-track EP features songs including ‘Holly’, ‘When We Can Start Again’, ‘Worst That Could Happen’, ‘Runaway’, and the title track ‘A Walk In The Grass’.
Originally formed in Reno in 2013 by Jacob Rubeck and Nick Minor, Casino Hearts went on hiatus when Rubeck relocated to Los Angeles. The band reformed in 2021 when Minor also moved to Los Angeles, with the addition of Holter bringing new electronic and pop elements to their indie rock foundation.
The band are set to embark on their first headline tour of the US, beginning in March.
