Will Smith and Big Sean have teamed up for new single ‘Beautiful Scars’, featuring Obanga, released via SLANG Recordings.

The track arrives alongside news of Smith’s forthcoming album ‘Based On A True Story’, set to be his first full-length release in over two decades. The record will include previously released singles ‘You Can Make it’, ‘Work of Art’, and ‘TANTRUM’, the latter featuring Joyner Lucas.

Produced by OmArr and LeXoskeleton, ‘Beautiful Scars’ explores themes of fame and personal growth. The accompanying music video, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, pays homage to ‘The Matrix’, featuring Smith and Sean in action sequences and behind-the-scenes footage.

‘Based On A True Story’ is due in March.
