Black Country, New Road have announced their third studio album ‘Forever Howlong’, set for release on 4th April via Ninja Tune.
The band have also shared new single ‘Besties’, their first studio release to feature lead vocals from Georgia Ellery. The track arrives alongside a video directed by award-winning director Rianne White, known for her work with Young Fathers, Aurora and Kae Tempest.
‘Forever Howlong’ marks the group’s first studio release since 2022’s ‘Ants From Up There’, with vocal duties and songwriting now split between Tyler Hyde, Georgia Ellery, and May Kershaw. “It created a real through line for the album, having three girls singing,” Ellery says. “It’s definitely very different to Ants From Up There, because of the female perspective – and the music we’ve made also compliments that.”
The album was produced by James Ford, known for his work with Fontaines D.C., Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode and Blur. It will be available in various formats, including standard black vinyl, white label signed editions, and collector’s editions featuring alternate tracklistings.
