Magnolia Park are gearing up to release a neo-gothic concept album, ‘VAMP’

Magnolia Park have announced their third album ‘VAMP’, set for release via Epitaph Records on 11th April. The Orlando quintet have also shared new single ‘CULT’.

The new record is a neo-gothic concept album following a narrative centred around Nocturne Nexus, where rulers and rebels battle for supremacy. The story follows Aurora X1, a half-human, half-cyborg warrior, through this dystopian landscape.

“CULT is a song about gaining back your power from an oppressor, made to inspire people to stick up for what is right and not let themselves be taken advantage of,” the band explain. “This reflects in our story where Aurora and the Vampires have to stand up to a towering oppressive group called the ‘Shadow Cult’.”

‘VAMP’ features eleven tracks, produced by the band alongside Andrew Wade, Hiram Hernandez, and Andy Karpovck, with mixing by Zakk Cervini.

Magnolia Park – comprising vocalist Joshua Roberts, guitarists Tristan Torres and Freddie Criales, drummer Joe Horsham and bassist Vincent Ernst – will support Bowling for Soup on tour and play a headline show in London.
