The Moonlandingz have returned with their first new single in seven years, ‘The Sign Of A Man’

The Moonlandingz have announced their return with new single ‘The Sign Of A Man’, released via Transgressive Records.

The track marks the band’s first new material in seven years, following their 2017 debut album ‘Interplanetary Class Classics’. The group have also revealed their upcoming album will be titled ‘No Rocket Required’.

Johnny Rocket (aka Lias Saoudi) explains the meaning behind the new single: “Nature left man half-finished, unresolved, alienated, lost to permanent exile, unable or unwilling to surrender even to himself…is it any wonder he grew callous? This is a song about torpor unbound, about the relegation of love into need, about our failure to summon up ‘care’… this is a song about justice.”

The original incarnation of The Moonlandingz featured collaborations with Yoko Ono, Sean Ono Lennon, Rebecca Taylor, Phil Oakey and the Cowboy from The Village People. The current lineup includes Adrian Flanagan, Dean Honer and Lias Saoudi.

Their dates in full read:
