Lottery Winners have released new single ‘Dirt and Gold’, featuring Frank Turner, taken from their upcoming album ‘KOKO’.
The track marks Turner’s third consecutive appearance on a Lottery Winners album, with the band’s new record due on 21st March.
“It’s become a tradition to have Frank on our records now, which is bananas for me to say, as he’s genuinely one of my favourite artists on the planet,” says Lottery Winners frontman Thom Rylance. “When I wrote Dirt and Gold, I knew it had to be Frank. There’s nobody else who can deliver a chorus like he can. With such ferocity, while remaining melodic and tuneful.”
Turner adds: “Collaborating with the Lottery Winners has become one of my favourite musical traditions. Their energy, creativity, and sheer enthusiasm are infectious—it’s impossible not to have a good time working with them. When Thom sent me Dirt and Gold, I immediately knew I had to be part of it. Their ability to craft songs that are both heartfelt and anthemic is second to none, and I was honoured to help bring that song to life. Lottery Winners are one of those bands that remind you why you fell in love with music in the first place. They’ve got that perfect mix of humour, heart, and a genuine passion for what they do. It’s inspiring.”
The band, comprising singer, songwriter and guitarist Thom alongside bassist & vocalist Katie Lloyd, guitarist Rob Lally and drummer Joe Singleton, are following up on ‘Anxiety Replacement Therapy’.
