We know. The start of the year is rough. Still working through the worst sweets from the tin, shivering from the cold and praying for the nights to get lighter. That’s why we’re brightening up the bleakest month with Here Comes Your Jan – a double serving of live brilliance at The 100 Club on 22nd and 23rd January. And today, we’re completing the bill with a highly recommended new addition.
Annie-Dog is an artist already ten steps ahead into whatever comes next. Her tracks feel like intercepted broadcasts from a parallel universe, and that’s why we’re delighted to reveal she’ll be opening the first night of Here Comes Your Jan – 22nd January. She’ll be joining headliners Imogen and the Knife, bringing their remarkable live show to the legendary Oxford Street basement. Fresh from releasing ‘Some Kind Of Love, Extended Suite’, Imogen stands at that thrilling moment just before everything explodes – and trust us, it will. The bill is completed by London’s own Hank, whose grunge-drenched offerings have been turning heads across the capital.
The following night (23rd January), Swim School take command of the stage. After spending 2024 becoming absolutely essential viewing – including a stint supporting Pale Waves and numerous packed-to-the-rafters festival appearances – they’re ready to kick 2024 into gear. Support comes from the mesmerising She’s In Parties and Cosmorat.
These shows mark the first dates in our Dork 100 series – a celebration leading up to our 100th issue this summer (we know, we’re getting old). It’s just the beginning of what we’ve got planned for 2025, with plenty more special shows, surprises and general mischief in the works.
Tickets for both shows are selling fast, and available now via Dice and WeGotTickets. Consider this your January survival kit sorted.JANUARY 2025
