Everything Is Recorded have released new single ‘Swamp Dream #3’, featuring Mary In The Junkyard’s Clari Freeman-Taylor.
The track is taken from ‘Temporary’, Everything Is Recorded’s third album, set for release on 28th February via XL Recordings. Unlike previous singles which featured multiple collaborators, ‘Swamp Dream #3’ sees Richard Russell and Freeman-Taylor performing all instruments between them during sessions at Copper House studios in west London.
The new album was created over four years from 2020 to 2024, with recording taking place primarily at Russell’s Copper House studio, alongside sessions in Tottenham, Cumbria, Dorset, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The record features collaborations with Sampha, Bill Callahan, Noah Cyrus, Florence Welch, Maddy Prior, Berwyn, Alabaster Deplume, Jah Wobble, Yazz Ahmed, Laura Groves, Kamasi Washington, Rickey Washington, Roses Gabor, Jack Peňate, Samantha Morton, and Nourished By Time.
‘Temporary’ follows Russell’s recent production work on tracks for Peter Gabriel’s ‘i/o’ album and Mary In The Junkyard’s ‘this old house’ EP, and ‘Daffodils & Dirt’, a collaborative album with Samantha Morton under the name SAM MORTON.
