Spotify has unveiled its annual Wrapped feature for 2024, allowing users to explore their listening habits from the past year through the platform’s ‘Celebration Of Your Year’ experience.
The streaming service has introduced new features for this year’s edition, including an AI innovation that provides users with deeper insights into their top songs, artists, and genres through two dynamic hosts. Premium subscribers can also access an ‘AI DJ’ function, offering commentary alongside their music, and create personalised playlists using their Wrapped data.
Taylor Swift leads both the UK and global charts as the most-streamed artist, with Drake, Kanye West, Billie Eilish, and The Weeknd completing the UK top five. Noah Kahan’s ‘Stick Season’ claims the top spot for most-streamed track in the UK, followed by Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Espresso’ and Benson Boone’s ‘Beautiful Things’.
‘The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology’ by Taylor Swift ranks as the most-streamed album both in the UK and globally, with Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Short N’ Sweet’ and Noah Kahan’s ‘Stick Season’ rounding out the UK top three.
In podcasting, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ maintains its position as the most popular show in both the UK and global markets, with ‘The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett’ and ‘The Rest Is Football’ following in the UK charts.
Users can now access their personal Wrapped statistics through the Spotify mobile app on iOS and Android, with the ability to share their results across various social media platforms and messaging apps.
